Must be Proficient at working from Prints to perform Precision Manual Machinist duties, making Prototype Automotive and Aerospace Parts from Prints.

This is a Prototype and Short Run Production Shop Opportunity

Manual Machinist Job Summary

We are looking for a Manual Machinist to join our team.

In this position, you will help us create tools and other components using a variety of equipment, such as a Manual Lathe, Mill, Drill Press and Surface Grinder.

Our ideal candidate has completed a training program through an industry apprenticeship or earned a machinist certificate from a vocational school and has at least one year of manufacturing experience or has at least 10-Years in a manufacturing environment as a Machinist.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Read Prints to determine what equipment and materials are necessary for the job
• Follow the Prints to create the appropriate tools and / or components / parts
• Operate the machines required for machining operations
• Finish projects using manual tools
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure they remain in good working order
• Able to read Micrometers, Calipers and various Test Equipment and Gages

Requirements and Qualifications

Pay Range :

25 - up Per Hour, possibly more, determined following Job Site Interview.

Hours :

Monday through Friday : 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, but till 5 : 30 PM, as required and directed, is the norm.

Saturday : 7 AM to Noon or 1 : 30 PM frequently required.

When machining work is slow, this individual will also from time to time help out in other areas of the company such as :
