The background investigations are purposed for Individuals seeking employment with the federal government in varying capacities, and they will need to undergo a background investigation to ensure that these individuals are not a potential security threat. During the BI process, there will be sensitive information that will be documented and processed, as a result, there would be a critical need for individuals that can maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive materials.Would you like to contribute to our Nation's security? Coordinate with HR, Training, and supervision for onboarding new staff2. Submitting potential candidates to OPM for approval on contract3. Requesting credentials from OPM4. Logging and tracking credential chain of custody5. Requesting credentials from staff exiting contract6. Other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Completion of a two year program in criminology, business administration or related field preferred
- Two or more years of experience in security administration
- Experience working with company security guidelines and / or policies
- Experience working with facilities management
- Experience with mechanical and security systems
