We are currently seeking an Account Representative to join our Sales Support Team. This is a full-time, hourly entry level position, based out of our Fort Myers, FL Corporate HQ.
The Account Representative plays a crucial role in managing and nurturing smaller, yet vital accounts. The primary focus includes ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and assisting with driving significant sales growth. This position is essential for building and maintaining strong relationships, promptly addressing needs, and supporting the sales team in achieving various goals.
The hourly pay rate will be based upon experience and skills. Excellent attendance and dependability are needed, and candidates must be willing to work flexible hours as deemed necessary by business needs. Candidates must have a professional etiquette and mannerisms with excellent communication skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate and partner cross functionally as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with an assigned portfolio of accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Own day-to-day client communication, especially regarding lower-tier issues, always focusing on customer needs and satisfaction.
- Develop and nurture accounts by managing upselling and cross-selling opportunities to grow them into larger accounts.
- Ensure elevated levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Work closely with internal teams, including technical support, marketing, and product development as needed, to resolve client issues.
- Provide regular reports on account performance, sales activities, and market trends to Sales Support Leadership.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- Answer incoming calls, make outbound calls, and follow up on leads, all with applicable documentation promptly entered in CRM/ERP system.
- Acquire knowledge of specific products, services, or other assigned areas of expertise to answer inquiries, send additional information and enter quotes/orders.
- Implement and attend weekly meetings with TSM(s) to review what and how their accounts can be best served.
- Understand customer needs and communicate viable resolutions and/or recommendations.
- Accurately maintain current and potential customer accounts and records of interactions including details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, and report and/or escalate any issues appropriately.
- Clearly explain and demonstrate features of products and services.
- Complete necessary product and position training as per company and regulatory standards.
- Follow company safety policies and participates in Safety Training as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a verifiable record of demonstrated successes with customer service experience.
- Must have problem-solving skills.
- Must have upselling and cross selling experience and knowledge, or must be ready, willing, and able to learn these techniques.
- Must be able to partner with and collaborate respectfully and professionally with cross functional teams as well as work independently.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Must have very good customer service skills.
- Recent skills and experience are required with CRM and/or ERP systems (such as Salesforce, Epicor, NetSuite, or similar) with the ability to learn new systems/software in a reasonably quick timeframe.
- Must have proficiencies with MS Office applications and various software platforms (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint) with the ability to learn new software in a reasonably quick timeframe.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be dependable and maintain an excellent attendance record and have the willingness to offer a flexible work schedule and work overtime as per business/project needs.
- Must have the ability to consistently and effectively present information and respond in a timely manner to high email/message volume, to questions or inquiries from other team members, leadership, and especially customers when needed.
- Must speak, read, and write English and have effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
