We are currently seeking a Operations & Sales Coordinator to join our growing organization, focusing on our Pilot Stairlift Products.
The Pilot Operations and Sales Coordinator (“POSC”) is a multi-faceted role combining training & development, technical support, operations, and sales support. This position will be the primary contact for Pilot Product Training & Development. Once acclimated, the POSC will utilize an in-depth understanding of the Pilot products to guide internal and external stakeholders with training, development, technical support, and sales. This POSC will also assist with workflow coordination with Pilot production, sales, and product development based on stakeholder feedback. The overall essential duties and responsibilities will result in well-developed opportunities for the division, resulting in exceeded sales and training goals for the Pilot product line.
This is a full-time position based primarily out of our Fort Myers, FL, Corporate HQ. The salary will be based upon knowledge, skills, education, experience, and abilities.
Candidates must be comfortable working in multiple environments, from a manufacturing/warehousing floor to an office setting, or customer facing in a store front. The ideal candidate can work independently or with a team and can seamlessly switch gears when priorities change. Candidates must be computer literate and have the capability to learn new platforms quickly. Technical / mechanical skills and abilities are needed – you may need to turn a wrench one day, then enter sales orders the next day!
Computer skills are required. Candidates must have a college degree in a relevant field, preferably in home accessibility product sales or technical support, with a minimum of three (3) years of related training/supervisory/sales experience; or an equivalent combination of recent and related experience, education, and/or training.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure quality standards and excellent customer service goals are exceeded.
- Collaborate frequently with Operations, R&D, and Sales Teams to plan, schedule, conduct, assess, and document Pilot training for internal and external stakeholders.
- Under direction and discretion of the VP of Operations, serve as the alternate to the (Pilot) Production Manager.
- Drive and support continuous improvement and a culture of safety and respect.
- Maintain Pilot related inventory and ensure data is accurately entered/reflected in ERP system.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish sales objectives for Pilot products.
- Travel for industry events, product training, troubleshooting, installations, and sales support.
- Maintain customer relationships and knowledge of Pilot accessibility, targeting key accounts, developing opportunities, and exceeding sales goals by means of various communication portals including face to face with travel.
- Educate current and potential customers on value proposition and benefits of the Pilot products.
- Provide high level technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform general operations Pilot fulfillment, logistical needs, and overall movement of Pilot products.
- Effectively communicate with current and potential customers information on promotions, following up on leads, and overall Pilot product discussions.
- Clearly and professionally provide customer support by addressing inbound communications with Sales Support and/or Technical Support departments.
- Answer inquiries, provide additional information, and enter customer quotes/orders in ERP/CRM systems.
- Stay current on industry standards and trends, new product information/development, and key customer strategies.
- Participate in meetings and provide feedback and reports on activities to leadership for evaluation.
- Stay abreast of local, state and/or federal regulations/requirements as they relate to accessibility installation requirements.
- Follow company safety policies and participate in safety training as it pertains to the position.
- Business travel as needed (national and potential oversea).
- Other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must abide by Company safety policies and participate in Safety Training as required.
- Must have good manual dexterity, good physical condition and strength, and good balance is needed for safety.
- Must have excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
- Must have proficient computer skills and experience for communication such as email, data entry/documentation, etc., specifically with MS Office applications.
- Must have familiarity with Oracle NetSuite, or a similar ERP system, or c be ready, willing, and able to learn company IT systems within a reasonable period; must maintain knowledge and skills throughout employment.
- Must be able to travel for industry events and training and can withstand the potential stressors of travel.
- Must have negotiating skills and has the capacity to teach and sell.
- Must have overall technical abilities and savviness to quickly learn and efficiently work with products from any remote location while traveling and/or while providing technical support via telephone or virtual platform.
- Must be a dedicated team player and collaborator with the capabilities to also work independently.
- Must have excellent decision-making skills and be able to collaborate with professionalism and friendly mannerisms.
- Must be able to comprehend and adapt to customer and team member behaviors and can professionally and respectfully address challenges if they arise.
- Must have valid driver’s license and maintain throughout employment with company.
- Must speak, read, and write fluent English and have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Work Environment: The work environment is a combination of a business office atmosphere, manufacturing operations, warehousing/storage, remote and/or business travel.
While performing the duties of this job in a business office atmosphere, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, cool to ambient climate temperatures and moderately clean.
While performing the duties of this job in the warehousing/manufacturing/production operations, and/or warehousing atmosphere, the employee may need to work near moving mechanical parts. In these environments, the noise levels may often be moderate to loud; ambient climate temperatures to humid and hot (depending on season or location), dry, dusty to moderately clean. Employees will be required to use and/or wear safety equipment / PPE, which will be provided to the employee by the company.
Travel: While performing the duties of this job when traveling, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time and place. This may include warm, hot, or cold temperatures.
