The primary duties of the CNC Machine Operator include setting up, programming, and operating machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, drill, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal.
Technical Skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to operate grinders for around 15 hours/week
- Experienced in power tools and forklifts (preferred)
- Able to read a tape measure
Quality / Safety Skills
- Have acute situational awareness
- Able to be trained on and operate overhead cranes
- Equipped with personal protection equipment (PPE)
- Able to lift up to 80 pounds
