Mobile Feline Veterinarian
Are you a passionate feline-focused veterinarian who enjoys being on the move? Join Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society's (MRFRS) Catmobile program as a Mobile Feline Veterinarian, established in 2008, and take the reins of one of our meowvelous fully equipped “Catmobile’s”! This role combines your love of feline medicine and passion for preventing feline overpopulation through high quality, high volume spay-neuter surgery, and the joy of serving an appreciative community in the beautiful North Shore area, just 1-hour north of Boston.
MRFRS has been a leader in feline welfare since 1992, and we’re not kitten you! Our Catmobile program has provided affordable spay/neuter and vaccines to tens of thousands of cats and kittens across Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. As the veterinarian for one of our Catmobiles, you’ll be on the front lines of feline s/n surgery, helping both owned and adoptable cats thrive while educating the community about responsible pet care.
- Core Duties: Perform mobile spays, neuters, wellness exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and more. We have two Catmobile’s—state-of-the-art vehicles about the size of an RV (no special license required for you to drive!).
- Schedule: Flexible - create the 4-day work week schedule you want. We’re flexible!
- Team Support: You will jump right in with an experienced veterinary technician and assistant to ensure smooth operations.

Compensation & Benefits
- $120,000( ) base salary (DOE)
- No weekend shifts required
- 10 days PTO year one (accrues annually) plus 6 paid holidays
