FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY: This entry-level position is responsible for providing overall administrative support to the Financial Services Program, executing process-oriented tasks focused on efficiency and case management completion, and supporting the promotion of the Program to Credit Union employees and members to meet strategic growth goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares client appointments and gathers necessary documents such as new client packets, bios, and preparing online paperwork.
- Reviews outstanding documents such as account changes, transfers, trades, new accounts, etc. to verify accuracy and timeliness to meet member service levels.
- Manages client account service needs using the account management system software.
- Updates SalesForce; schedules tasks and/or follow-up appointments with potential clients.
- Provides administrative support to advisors; coordinates the advisors’ schedules, maintains advisors’ calendars, sets up and confirms appointments with members, manages phone calls for advisors, orders supplies, and creates and manages contact information.
- Supports Program compliance guidelines and maintains confidential member information by adhering to Program policies and procedures.
- Supports the marketing efforts of the Program within the branches including updating lobby marketing materials and assists in executing member/client mailings and marketing.
- Handles incoming calls, chats, and emails within a fast-paced environment in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner.
- Provides clients with information regarding all products and services. When necessary, will direct calls to the appropriate advisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college preferred.
- A minimum of three to five years of similar or related experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, written/verbal communication, organizational skills needed.
- Experience with personal computers in a windows environment including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Flexibility of work hours, and proven reliability/dependability required.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks effectively and accurately.
- Tact and diplomacy, ability to maintain confidentiality and analytical ability required.
- Possess initiative to resolve problems with good judgment.
- Knowledge of Credit Union services and procedures preferred.
