Customer Relationship Development (50%)
Develop and maintain relationships with commercial livestock haulers, Farmers and other key stakeholders in the industry.
Maintain and expand Pipedrive CRM system for accuracy in your customer approach.
Actively promote Merritts parts and service offerings, highlighting their value and alignment with the customers needs.
Devise tailored sales strategies to address specific customer challenges and secure long-term partnerships.
Present product suggestions and or services to prospective and current customers.
Sales and Revenue Growth (25%)
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase parts and service revenue.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve individual and company sales goals.
Provide insights and recommendations for new product offerings that will increase ticket value.
Maintain a robust sales pipeline by prospecting, networking, and nurturing leads.
Market and Product Knowledge (15%)
Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and provide actionable items.
Demonstrate expertise in Merritt Trailers parts and service products, clearly explaining features and benefits to customers.
Recommend solutions that align with customer needs while showcasing the value of Merritts offerings.
Represent Merritt at industry and local events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand brand visibility and customer connections.
Collaboration and CRM Management (10%)
Use CRM software to track customer interactions, manage opportunities, and ensure accurate records.
Collaborate with service managers, service estimators, customer service teams, and branch management to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide detailed reports on sales performance, customer insights, and market conditions to leadership.
- Education: Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: 2-4 years in sales or business development, preferably in the transportation, agriculture, or commercial hauling industries.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving abilities; proficiency with CRM tools.
