Mesa is seeking a Protection & Control (P&C) Engineering Associate to work as part of a collaborative design team for the development of Power Substation P&C Design. The selected individual will be heavily engaged in engineering design in our nation’s fastest developing power substation arena. This opportunity is ideal for the entry-level, or junior-level, engineer seeking an environment which will provide technical growth, daily collaboration with subject matter expertise, and sophisticated methods utilized in engineering design. Exposure to a wide range of P&C design experience will be available in this role and include both Greenfield and Brownfield design with voltages ranging from Distribution level up to and including 500kV. The long-range forecast for skilled professionals in this industry and their career opportunities with Mesa is excellent.
Responsibilities
- Development of P&C Substation designs
- Collaborate with Standards Innovation and Design Teams to provide high quality engineered designs which are reliably constructed.
- Gain expertise and assist others in the field of Power Delivery Substation.
