POSITION TITLE : Human Resources Coordinator
DEPARTMENT : Administration GRADE : 3 FLSA : Non-Exempt FTE : .5
POSITION DESCRIPTION : Supports Human Resources Director and library staff by performing duties and understanding concepts related to human resources.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED : Works under the direct supervision of the Human Resources Director
SUPERVISION EXERCISED : None
BENEFITS :

SALARY : $17.50-19.09 per hour, depending on experience

SCHEDULE :
Unpaid meal break of at least &fac12; hour per shift to be taken for each 5 hours scheduled. Typical schedule is Monday - Friday. Some evening or weekend hours may be required for outreach opportunities or other library-related assignments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS :
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Ability to communicate verbally with library staff
Ability to maneuver about the library in a timely fashion
Ability to read a minimum print size equal to 10 point
Ability to tolerate dust, mold, etc. that may have accumulated on books
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Combination of four years' experience and / or education in a related field
Education can include college or vocational or technical training
Experience can include public library service
SCHEDULE :
Unpaid meal break of at least &fac12; hour per day to be taken for each 5 hours scheduled.
