Job Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor oversees loading, unloading of trucks, and warehouse inventory organization. This role ensures efficient operations, and effective communication with management, and maintains inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse activities, including loading, unloading, and inventory maintenance
- Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring safety and security standards are met
- Communicate with the Warehouse Manager regarding issues and workflow
- Maintain equipment and workspace cleanliness
- Communicate with clients and suppliers
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent industry related experience
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Prior experience operating a forklift
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a team
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong computer skills with prior experience with WMS systems preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Able to regularly lift 40 pounds
- Able to stay on your feet for 4 hours at a time
- Able to crouch, twist, and reach overhead
