New Hire Experience:
$500 for each full-time year of certified teaching or verified like experience
New Hire Education:
$65/hour of graduate level credits: BA 45 hours max, MA 60 hours max $1000 for advanced degrees

Job Summary:
The STEM teacher will lead students in a dynamic, exploratory STEM environment that challenges students to think critically and creatively, try ideas, make connections, find inspiration and collaborate with other. The teacher is responsible for maintaining a positive and appropriate educational environment and creating a program that can be integrated into the core curriculum
Candidates must complete an on-line application which requires appropriate Arizona certification, valid IVP Arizona fingerprint clearance card, evidence of highly qualified status, three letters of recommendation, and transcript of credits.

- Provide school-wide support of the STEM initiatives through development, coordination, instruction, and delivery
- Deliver STEM oriented instruction using project-based learning methods and technology to promote creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration
- Considers the individual learning needs and abilities of students, as well as school and district learning goals, in preparation and utilization of lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment documents
- Organizes, develop, and coordinates STEM events/activities
- Incorporates higher level thinking strategies and real-life expectations into STEM lesson planning
- Establishes, supports and administers positive classroom management in accordance with regulations, curriculum and behavior standards
- Coordinate, implement activities with financial responsibility through reporting and budget management
- Establishes positive and appropriate relationships with students and maintains open lines of communication
- Works with parents and school personnel representatives to provide an appropriate education for each student
- Produces, utilizes and maintains student records that relate to student achievement, attendance and discipline

To be eligible for this position, an applicant must meet the following required qualifications. Verification of these required qualifications is necessary.
Education:
- Bachlors degree in education or a STEM related field
- Valid Arizona teaching Certification
- Three years of experience in instruction of Science or Math, STEM technologies and technology systems
- Experience gathering and analyzing data to inform programmatic outcomes
- Experience in implementing federal grant funding in a diverse setting, including coordination and implementation of activities, reporting and budget management
