Job Description
The responsibility of a Busser/Back Server at Mesa is to provide customers a dining experience that makes them feel at home. Busser/Back Servers play an important role in our daily operations by ensuring our dining room, bar area and service areas are clean, stocked and visually appealing. Busser/Back Servers are expected to help the servers with providing exceptional customer service. Bussers will work closely with wait staff and the kitchen to ensure that the restaurant is operating efficiently. Busser/Back Servers are expected to move with a purpose and maintain high energy.
Job Duties, Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintains cleanliness and neatness of guest tables during and after each meal
- Assists servers with drink running as needed; helps ensure customer water glasses are full
- Assist wait staff with bringing food orders to the table
- Resets tables for next service
- Partners with team members to deliver great food and killer cocktails
- Assists in tasks to ensure a clean and safe restaurant
- Provides friendly and attentive service
- Works together as a team
- Is diligent to ensure that the customer experience is exceptional
- Maintains positive relationships, acts as the positive influence during shift
- Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
