Overview
We are seeking a Corporate/IT Security Engineer to join our Information Technology team. This individual will be responsible for securing and managing corporate applications, enforcing identity and access controls, and overseeing endpoint security. This role ensures security best practices for Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Atlassian, and other enterprise tools while managing device security, Zero Trust, EDR/XDR, and SIEM solutions.
Responsibilities
- Application Security & IAM – Secure Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Atlassian, ensuring proper access controls, SSO, MFA, and RBAC enforcement.
- Device & Endpoint Security – Manage MDM solutions (Jamf, Kandji, Intune) and enforce security policies for corporate devices.
- Zero Trust & Access Management – Implement Zero Trust security principles, ensuring least-privilege access and continuous monitoring.
- Threat Detection & Response – Deploy and monitor EDR/XDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender) to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Security Monitoring & SIEM – Configure and manage SIEM platforms (Splunk, Azure Sentinel) to analyze security events and improve threat intelligence.
- Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure adherence to SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks, conduct security audits, and maintain documentation.
- Security Awareness & Training – Lead phishing simulations, security training programs, and enforce best practices for corporate users.
Qualifications
- 5 years in corporate security, IT security, or enterprise application security
- Expertise in Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Atlassian security configurations
- Strong knowledge of IAM, SSO, MFA, Zero Trust models
- Experience with MDM solutions (Jamf, Kandji, Intune)
- Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR and SIEM platforms
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)
- Scripting & automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for security operations
Additional Valuable Skills:
- Experience with CASB solutions for SaaS security
- Understanding of DLP policies & insider threat detection
- Experience with third-party SaaS security assessments
- Knowledge of incident response & digital forensics
