Job SummaryFull Time Office Clerk to assist M-F 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. MUST be bilingual and dependable. Fast learner. Excellent presentation and communication skills.Responsibilities and DutiesAnswer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate staff professionalAnswer questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other basic informationGreet clients warmly and notify appropriate Personnel of client arrivalGreet on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnelAbility to deliver information to others clearly and accuratelyGive instructions to clients on how to fill out paperwork for intake and required registrationsMaintain employee directories; schedule client appointments, meetings and maintain / update appointment calendarsMaintain a safe, clean working environmentInsurance verification / authorization, discharges, follow-ups, and referral trackingsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; verbal / written communication, listening, professionalism, customer focus, and organizationCoordinate mail flow, in and out of officeLook for ways to improve and promote quality; change approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected eventsCreate and print correspondence, reports, and other documents as required; perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, fax messages, and other duties as assigned.Prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; follow through on commitmentsReact well under pressure; treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or positionMiscellaneous duties as assigned.Billing Experience preferredQualifications and SkillsHigh School Diploma / and / or GEDPrior experience working with the public requiredKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeClerical and customer service skillsExcellent writing and communication skillsFriendly and Outgoing PersonalityAbility to multi-taskAbility to identify and resolve problems in a timely mannerDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughnessExhibits objectivity and openness to others viewsAdhere to strict confidentiality with focus on sensitive material, HIPAAExpected hours : 16 - 40 per weekBenefits : 401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule : Monday to FridayWeekends onlyEducation : High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience : Customer service : 1 year (Preferred)
