Our Plymouth location provides consumer collections and creditors ‘remedies services to financial institutions. Location: 3033 Campus Drive Suite #250 Plymouth, MN

What you would do at Messerli & Kramer: Our Plymouth location at Messerli Kramer is currently seeking a Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. We are looking for someone who enjoys managing a variety of administrative tasks in a fast pace environment within human resources. This position will be required to onsite to assist and be a liaison to our employees and support our HR Generalist. This role requires good attention to detail, strong organizational skills along with great communication skills to help support our employee experience. The responsibilities include but not limited to: assisting with recruiting, onboarding, new employee orientation, benefits, payroll, timecard management and general administrative support.

Hours: 8:00AM-12:00PM Monday-Thursday

Hourly Part Time Position: up to 20 hours per week

Hourly Pay Range: $20-25/hour based upon level of experience

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Onboarding

  • Coordinate background and drug screenings with vendor.
  • Coordinate and assist with new employee orientation on Mondays.
  • Set up badge access and assign badges for new hires.
  • Assign work location for new hires and work with IT department.
  • Send internal new hire staffing communications.
  • Review identification and complete the I-9 process.

Benefits/Payroll

  • Liaison with our Paylocity HRIS system to ensure benefits, timecards and payroll processing are accurate and timely.
  • Reconcile any discrepancies in Paylocity HRIS system regarding timecards, benefit information and/or payroll information.
  • Maintain accurate information in HRIS system.
  • Generate reports as needed from HRIS system.
  • Review Bi-weekly payroll and troubleshoot any timecard entries.
  • Assist employees with any general questions related to benefits, timecards and/or payroll.

Recruiting (as needed)

  • Assist with posting jobs to Paylocity
  • Assist with reviewing and screening candidates for certain positions
  • Scheduling onsite interviews with coordination with hiring managers

Administrative Tasks

  • Oversee monthly anniversary cards and service awards
  • Monitor PLY-HR inbox to follow up and assist employees questions
  • Conduct quarterly badge audits
  • Conduct annual background check audits
  • Assist with engagement activities and employee events
  • Assist with monthly performance review process and prepare packets for leadership team
  • Back up support to HR Generalist
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ human resources experience
  • HRIS experience. Paylocity system knowledge a plus.
  • Previous payroll/timecard experience helpful.
  • Highly professional with a strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong verbal, written communication and people skills
  • Strong attention to detail
