What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Advisor position at Messick's Equipment?
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our service team. Primary duties will include assisting service department customers at our Mount Joy location.
Responsibilities:
- Promote Messicks service business
- Greet customers and promptly answer incoming calls & emails
- Assist with technician scheduling
- Accurately create and settle repair orders daily
- Keep customers informed throughout the service experience
- Keep technicians updated of any changes
- Coordinate with the sales, trucking & rental departments as needed.
- Provide backup for the other Mount Joy shops and rental as needed
Ensure customers receive exceptional service with a commitment to department profitability
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency
- Mechanical aptitude, agricultural background helpful
