The ideal candidate will be responsible for comprehensive management of the plating facility's operations, balancing production efficiency, quality control, safety standards, and team development. Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Direct daily plant operations to meet production targets
- Analyze production metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Troubleshoot production process issues
- Develop strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs
- Interface with customers regarding quality concerns
- Support implementation and maintenance of AS9100-compliant Quality Management System
Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with quality team to ensure products meet standards and customer specifications
- Implement and maintain quality control processes
- Identify quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
Safety and Compliance
- Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits and address hazards
- Assist with quality metrics and compliance reporting
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate technical staff
- Create a collaborative work environment
- Conduct performance evaluations
- Provide training on quality standards and procedures
Requirements
- Essential: 3-5 years minimum experience managing a plating/metal finishing operation - this experience is a MUST HAVE.
- Experience with AS9100 quality management systems in manufacturing
- CEF and/or CAF certification preferred
- NADCAP experience is a plus
- Internal audit experience and result interpretation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data management software
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Salary : $120,000 - $125,000
