The Position
We are seeking a Development Analyst to join our team, playing a key role in project coordination, entitlements, permits, approvals and pre-construction. If you have a passion for high-end real estate development and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the development process from acquisition through construction, with a strong focus on entitlements, zoning, and permitting.
- Conduct due diligence, feasibility studies, and financial analyses to support project viability.
- Liaise with city officials, consultants, legal teams, and contractors to ensure smooth entitlement and approval processes.
- Track and manage development timelines, identifying potential roadblocks and solutions.
- Support pre-construction activities, including:
Assisting in contractor selection and bidding processes.
Reviewing and coordinating architectural, engineering, and construction plans.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements before breaking ground.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between development, construction, and design teams to ensure project alignment.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in real estate development, urban planning, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of entitlements, zoning, permitting, and pre-construction processes.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to interpret and analyze legal documents, site plans, and municipal regulations.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and real estate software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
