RN Endoscopy

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Endoscopy to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings and possess a strong understanding of internal medicine and case management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures by assessing their health status and reviewing medical histories.
• Administer IV infusions and monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about the procedure, potential risks, and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
• Adhere to established standards of care and protocols for infection control and patient safety.
• Provide support to patients with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met throughout the process.
• Participate in case management activities to coordinate care across different settings, including assisted living facilities.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in acute care nursing or related clinical settings preferred.
• Familiarity with endoscopic procedures is a plus.
• Knowledge of internal medicine principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Epic.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Pay: $2,400.00 - $2,500.00 per week
