We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-Commerce Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online sales platforms, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, and enhancing the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce operations, materials handling, and warehouse management systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of e-commerce platforms, including product listings, inventory management, and order processing.
- Oversee shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and optimize storage solutions.
- Perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading shipments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency within the distribution center.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating equipment such as clamp trucks and cranes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to orders, shipping, and product availability.
Experience
- Previous experience in e-commerce or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in shipping receiving processes and materials handling techniques.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate equipment safely within a warehouse environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide customer support.
