The project :
This person will manage a variety of projects ranging from IT to business-wise while working closely with internal stakeholders and vendors. The position requires availability for on-site attendance at least 2x per week, strong governance, collaboration, and a problem-solving mindset to navigate a maturing project environment. The focus is on delivering clear milestones, simple and concise reporting tailored to different audiences, and fostering collaboration using remote tools effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage business application projects, ensuring strong governance, defined timelines, milestones, and clear reporting.
- Work collaboratively with Consultants, vendors, business stakeholders, and internal teams to align project goals and deliverables.
- Drive project delivery in a hybrid methodology, incorporating Agile practices while working in a primarily Waterfall environment.
- Develop user-friendly and audience-specific project status reports to communicate progress, risks, and milestones concisely.
- Approach an evolving and less mature project environment with a proactive mindset, implementing structure and processes where needed.
- Lead integration projects with data systems and ensure seamless collaboration across operational and technical teams.
- Foster a “One Team” philosophy through strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Support change management initiatives, implementing new processes while guiding the team through a maturing organizational structure.
- Ensure that collaboration tools are used effectively for remote teamwork and reporting.
