Essential Duties, Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the production processes for plastic molding and extrusion, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery of products.
- Allocate resources such as manpower, machinery, and materials to meet production targets and minimize waste.
- Implement and maintain strict quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the plant, minimizing accidents and adhering to industry safety standards.
- Lead and develop a team of production staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Continuously analyze and improve the preventative maintenance of the facilities machines, equipment, and tooling.
- Develop and manage the plant's budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and making decisions to reduce operational expenses.
- Continuously analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase overall plant efficiency.
- Lead company improvement initiatives by establishing and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement within the plant.
- Ensure that the plant complies with environmental regulations, safety standards, and industry-specific guidelines.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers by addressing their concerns, managing order fulfillment, and collaborating on product specifications.

Based on the essential duties listed above, this position is considered safety-sensitive and therefore all work must be performed following quality standards and established safety procedures.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in manufacturing, including roles such as a production supervisor, plant supervisor, or operations manager is required.
- A valid drivers license and the ability to be covered under the Companys automobile insurance are required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A deep understanding of plastic molding and extrusion processes, including equipment, materials, and quality control measures.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment to ensure a safe workplace.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and methodologies to maintain high product quality.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations related to manufacturing processes and waste management.
