Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Duties
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to verify the integrity of accounts.
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
- Perform financial auditing to assess the accuracy of financial records and identify discrepancies.
- Utilize financial software such as Sage and Xero for efficient data management and reporting.
- Collaborate with public accounting firms for external audits and tax preparation.
- Support corporate accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Assist in private equity transactions by providing necessary financial documentation and analysis.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions for easy retrieval and review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with financial auditing practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial software such as Sage or Xero is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
