AM 12 - Steel Estimator - Fabrication / Erection - Twin City, GA
Our company is a fabricator and erector specializing in Structural Steel, Misc Metals, Ornamental Steel and Steel Renovation work.
Responsibilities
- Reviews project plans and provides estimates.
- Review contracts to make any revision of the scope of work
- Able to read Structural and Architectural drawings and
- Prepare accurate take-offs of material, shop, and field hours.
- Create Job files, complete required bid forms and scope of work from General Contractors, and type and send out proposals.
- Estimates small and large projects.
- Estimates multiple projects with deadlines, following up after bid submission
- Must be able to work diligently and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in preparing detailed Miscellaneous Metals proposals
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and installation
- Good communication skills and diligence in following up with customers
- Proficient in using different estimating software
