Customer Service Representative
Metal Textiles, 970 New Durham Rd, Edison NJ

Required skills:
- MS Office experience

- Knowledge of basic office equipment and protocol
- Strong follow-up skills needed
Skills strongly desired:
- Experience with Netsuite
- Web Based EDI Portal knowledge/experience
- Knowledge of Export Compliance would be a big plus,
- Experience in Logistics, Basic Customer Service procedures.
- Experience in the manufacturing environment/Industry
Basic Position Job Description and duties will include:
- Communicate with customers by phone, email, fax, Web, and EDI, to receive process, change and update incoming orders for completeness.
- Work with Operations to meet special demands of new programs to meet pre-production schedules for builds and new production lines.
- Keep records available for internal audits and AS9100 Surveillance Audits.
- Transmit data thru traditional EDI and Web Based customer specific trading portals.
- Enter, maintain and update NetSuite system and Sales Order records with changes and new information from customer or their logistic departments.
- Customer Service duties for assigned customers, Data Entry, Filing, maintain files and end of year file transfers to archives, Receiving releases, processing orders, sending asn’s via customer instructions-thru customers web portals and traditional EDI.
- Process Spot Buy, Kanban, and Blanket orders
- Input, create and maintain data within The Future Three EDI system and WEB based EDI for Key Accounts.
- Capture spikes is customer forecasts/requests, update Production Department in Edison and Mexico as needed.
- Process complaints, credits, and returns as needed.
- Printing orders and distribution of order packets. Printing reports, creating shipping documents for International Customers.
- Providing support to Customer Service Manager and providing back up coverage when team members are out of the office or as needed.
- Special projects assigned as needed.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 – 40 per week
