What are the responsibilities and job description for the Imaging Operator/Metal Team Floater position at Metalcraft Inc?
General Responsibilities: Responsible for bar code processing, imaging of Photo Anodized material, performing routine maintenance, quality control, quality checks, and backup to other Metal Team operations.
Major Duties:
- Function as Metal Team Imager per operating procedures.
- Function as Metal Team Processor per operating procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance as per established procedures.
- Perform quality checks and process checks as required.
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance processes.
- Produce quality work in an efficient and timely manner to assist Metalcraft in meeting customer needs.
- Write and maintain standard work procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance as per established procedures.
- Act as floater in areas trained and cross-trained as necessary.
Special Job Characteristics:
- Ability to use measuring devices.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to work with hand tools and machinery.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Detail oriented
- Willing to be flexible to meet customer needs.
Experience:
- Print reading desirable
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work with machinery, machine operation welcomed, but not required.
