Material Handler
Metalcraft is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and accurately record incoming materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Prepare and deliver material kits to production lines.
- Restock materials at point-of-use locations.
- Operate material handling equipment (forklift, walk-behind lift).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Assist with shipping operations as needed.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Basic math and organizational skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer systems
- Forklift operator certification (preferred)
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Education/Experience:
- High School
- Robust computer skills
- UPS/Fed Ex shipping experience
- Receiving and LTL shipment experience desirable
- Material handling equipment operation including forklift
