Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication processes and techniques, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on various projects. This role is essential in ensuring that all fabrication work meets industry standards and codes while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00AM - 4:15 PM Friday 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including Stick welding and FCAW, to fabricate metal components.
- Execute pipe threading and soldering tasks as required for specific projects.
- Utilize plasma cutting tools to shape and cut materials accurately.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to build components according to specifications.
- Ensure all fabrication work adheres to relevant codes and standards, maintaining compliance throughout the process.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to ensure accurate dimensions in all fabricated parts.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members on construction sites to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and processes.
- Proficiency in using tools such as plasma cutters, calipers, and other fabrication equipment.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to fabrication work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team on construction sites.
- Physical stamina for standing for long periods, lifting heavy materials, and working in various conditions.
