What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) position at Metalico?
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance / Production Supervisor to join our team at Metalico in Girard, Ohio, a leading full-service scrap metal recycler in the Northeastern United States. The ideal candidate will have industry experience in scrap metal recycling, ability to perform preventative maintenance, and attention to detail and accuracy.
Summary :
The Maintenance / Production Supervisor will be responsible for directing the maintenance crew, collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and Yard Manager to ensure equipment and production readiness and responsible for the motivation and safety of those employees under their supervision. Responsible to preform and oversee preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance for all stationary and mobile equipment, and other supporting equipment in the Girard location. This position works closely with operations, maintenance, and environmental, or some combination of all. Will be required to oversee the 2nd Shift Shredder crew on an as needed basis.
