Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Reports to: General Manager
Job Summary: : The Administrative Assistant is responsible for processing customer orders and providing administrative support for their assigned location. The successful candidate will have the key skills to problem solve and multi-task while providing excellent customer service
Essential Functions:
- Answer phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate parties
- Take customer orders and input into the system
- Assist outside sales with orders and appointments
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and filing
- Maintain petty cash account
- Receive and post customer payments into the system
- Deposit customer checks via remote deposit scanner
- File and maintain customer tax exemption certificates
- Invoice orders once delivery has been made to the customer
- Send invoices to customers on terms
- Receive purchase orders into SAP after verification of packing slips
- Ensure all packing slips gets sent to Accounts Payable for payment
- Communicating issues to production when there are log errors and finding answers to these issues
- Contact customers for payment of invoices
- Run errands as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Moderate background knowledge of roofing materials/ procedures
- Knowledge of accounting/ERP systems
- Basic knowledge of excel functions/formulas
- Must present and communicate in a professional manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be organized with good time management skills.
- Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company.
- Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications.
Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
