What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager position at MetalMax?
The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the branch including but not limited to Sales/Customer Service, Manufacturing and Delivery. Other responsibilities include:
Aggressively develop business with new customers & maximize sales potential with existing customer base.
Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and make changes in sales strategies to address new developments.
Evaluate and recommend product mix and selling price based on changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals.
Manage policy development and deployment in the areas of lean manufacturing techniques, quality control, cost reduction, efficient delivery, safety, customer satisfaction and plant performance.
Provides leadership for employee resolution to facilitate fast improvements and improved working relationships.
Ensures compliance with OSHA and proper Workers Compensation recordkeeping.
Maintain staff by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training employees.
Provide quarterly results assessments of staff & department productivity.
Hold regular department meetings with staff.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
