The company has ten production facilities located throughout the United States, including Concord, NH, and will continue to expand for the foreseeable future.

Job Title: Inside Sales Associate
Reports to: General Manager
Job Summary: Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for partnering with our Outside Sales Representatives to provide excellent service to our customers and prospective customers. This position requires taking phone calls, along with order entry for our retail accounts, and providing service to our walk-in customers.
Essential Functions:
- Be available to meet customer demands which may include accommodating some evening and weekend responses.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of MetalMax products, services and pricing structure.
- Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.
- Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service needs.
- Conduct warm and outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce our products and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Engage in business development activities to identify new sales opportunities within the market.
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to promote our offerings and drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly targets and contribute to overall company goals.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in our software systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed the business sales goals.
- Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly.
- Regularly meet with General Manager to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
- Must be able to work overtime hours as required.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to read tape measures, understand basic mathematical calculations and use a calculator.
- Strong understanding of inside sales techniques and strategies.
- Proven experience in outbound calling, telemarketing, or similar roles is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Ability to develop rapport with customers while demonstrating professionalism and confidence.
- Familiarity with business development processes and market analysis is a plus.
- Proficient in using sales software and CRM tools to manage leads and track performance.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
Education:
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years inside business-to-business sales with a proven track record of success.
- 2 years of experience in a customer-facing sales role (B2B & B2C).
- Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions: The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% or more of the time. This position will require eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. The person in this position must be able to lift 60 pounds or more. They must be able to adjust their body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time. Adherences to company safety requirements must be closely followed.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour Variable Comp after minimum eligibility requirements are met
