Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality component parts according to specifications.
- Create programs for CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure precise machining operations.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality inspections of machined parts to verify conformance to customer requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members and engineering staff to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines, including knowledge of various machining techniques and tooling.
- Strong programming skills with the ability to write and edit G-code programs.
- Experience interpreting and manually editing G-Code.
- Familiarity with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Esprit) preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to provide leadership and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Train operators and help troubleshoot.
