What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control position at Metals USA?
Cooksey Steel has an immediate opening for a Inventory Control Administratorin our Tifton, GA facility.
- Under general supervision, maintains records of material stocked and ordered
- Checks components and quantities against production orders and maintains inventory data base
- Takes periodic physical inventory and identifies discrepancies
- Provides data as needed to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and needs for future production or use
- Identifies space for staged components and facilitates delivery of components to work areas. Notifies management when stock reaches designated order point
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
