Cooksey Steel has an immediate opening for a Inventory Control Administrator in our Tifton, GA facility.
- Under general supervision, maintains records of material stocked and ordered
- Checks components and quantities against production orders and maintains inventory data base
- Takes periodic physical inventory and identifies discrepancies
- Provides data as needed to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and needs for future production or use
- Identifies space for staged components and facilitates delivery of components to work areas. Notifies management when stock reaches designated order point
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

- Knowledge of administrative, clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records
- Minimum one (1) year comprehensive knowledge of inventory control concepts and practices
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Arithmetic skills for accurate counts, and to calculate and convert decimals to fractions
- Measuring skills to calculate correct dimensions of material and convert English and Metric systems
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
