What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Metalworks Inc.?
Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and moving materials for the Cellular department.
Shift: Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM with mandatory OT when applicable.
Compensation: $20-$21 DOE
Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Wrap and package outgoing shipment of product.
- Track inventory and location of materials.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area.
- Deliver materials and parts to operators.
- Box finished goods to prepare for shipment.
Qualifications:
- 2 years forklift experience required
- 2 years of production Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must be proficient with operating hand tools for boxing finished goods.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. repetitively, up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Salary : $20 - $21
