Description :
The Maintenance Mechanic will service equipment. This role performs repairs, corrections, replacement, inspections, documents, and files accordingly and reports back to Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements :
Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment; primarily loaders, shears, grapple, skid steers, forklifts, tractor / trailer
- Perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment as required
- Follow the dress code and compliance of proper PPE at all times
- Work independently in the absence of direct supervision
- Prepare all necessary documentation [Bill of Ladings, Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Tool Orders]
- Conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, PLC’s
- Welding, grinding, weld set-up
- Set up and break down machinery
- Maintain 5-S program (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
