Description :
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will invoice customers for scrap sales. This position reports to the Transaction Manager and works closely with marketing administration and other office personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Verify outbound loads to received weights from customers
Invoice customers based on settlements in detail to ensure accuracy
Enter outbound loads from off-site yards into our software system
Generating month end reporting / pricing
Requirements :
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
Excellent organizational skills
Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Must maintain impeccable attention to detail
Education / Experience
High school diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
Office environment. Utilizing an office desk-sitting, reading, listening, or speaking with the ability to move intermittently throughout the day
Strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, good hearing and dexterity
Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines, and phones
