Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: REMOTE (Must live within a commutable distance of the Oriskany NY office (Central NY). Will need to be onsite for training, monthly meetings, and for other business needs.) After training will be remote unless requested to come in on an as needed basis by the business.
Duration: 12 months contract
Job Description:
Training will be in the office - 3-5 weeks total of training.
Training hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm EST.
1-2 Years of customer service experience - experience on phones strongly preferred.
- Must be computer literate.
Core responsibility will be receiving and handling customer telephone inquiries related to Life Claims (Customer Service). Make return telephone calls as required to handle the original customer inquiry. Process incoming mail for new and existing claims (data entry). Build new claims and may process noncomplex claims. Determine if customer inquiry needs to be referred for follow-up. May need to review and determine next steps on expired call Client and perform any necessary follow-Client regarding the claim.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in customer service or in a related area. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision and maintain quality and production standards as defined in the Teams' operational metrics

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
