Mainframe COBOL/DB2/CICS Senior Programmer

12 Month Contract

Parsippany, NJ (onsite)Client is seeking an experienced Mainframe COBOL/DB2/CICS Senior Programmer to lead critical regulatory and compliance projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, and CICS.
• Implement and support message queuing with MQ.
• Create and troubleshoot JCL and manage IBM utilities.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver solutions efficiently.
• Write and debug SQL stored procedures as needed.

Requirements

• Mandatory Skills:
• COBOL: 9-10 years
• DB2: 9-10 years
• CICS: 4-5 years
• MQ: 6-8 years
• JCL: 9-10 years
• Desired Skills:
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL stored procedures.
