What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Administrator position at METECS?
METECS is an engineering company, headquartered in Houston, TX, just outside the gates of NASA’s Johnson Space Center. We are looking for a self-motivated, high performing candidate who will provide contract administration, subcontract administration, compliance activities, financial reporting, and milestone monitoring in support of our NASA and commercial contracts.

Citizenship or lawful permanent resident required due to federal position.

Responsibilities:
- Works with management to ensure company and project resources stay within budget
- Support program planning for contracts
- Preparation of cost estimates and financial reporting
- Assurance of compliance with contract requirements
- Review subcontractor invoices and prepare corresponding payment vouchers
- Assist in preparation of subcontracts, subcontract contract modifications, and work orders
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 0-3 years of contract administration experience
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and Word Skills
- Strong prioritization, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
- Must be a team player with good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Clauses (FAR) clauses
- Experience working with NASA
