Position Overview
Accounting team member will perform a number of accounting related tasks that will contribute to the overall success of the accounting department. This is a full-time, salaried employee position.
Responsibilities
- Report to Senior Accounting Manager and perform assigned tasks
- Scan and apply all receipts accurately and timely
- Vendor maintenance including COI compliance and W9 collection
- Participate in financial controls for duties
- Manage and code credit card transactions into Deltek Ajera
- Issue client invoices and coordinate with architectural teams on all aspects of project billing
- Review and audit project set-ups, ensuring contract compliance and internal standards are met
- Lead monthly architectural team meetings to troubleshoot and resolve operational accounting topics
Requirements
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-schedule to accommodate varying work needs and communicate the status of responsibilities weekly
- Experience with Deltek Ajera
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Work Experience
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry a plus
Formal Education
- Bachelor degree in Business Accounting or Finance
License/Certifications:
- None required
