Anthology Events, located in the historic Book Tower, in downtown Detroit is seeking an experienced and dynamic individuals to join our team. We are looking for; Dishwashers. Candidates must have a friendly and professional demeanor, work well on a team, and be comfortable on their feet for several hours at a time.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Dishwashers:
- Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness
- Sort, rinse, and load dishes, utensils, glassware, and other kitchen equipment into the dishwasher, following established procedures and guidelines
- Monitor and maintain dishwashing supplies, including detergents and rinse agents, promptly notifying the supervisor or manager when supplies need replenishment
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored in their designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing and storage areas, including regular cleaning of the dishwashing machine, sinks, and work surfaces
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment
- Support the kitchen team by assisting with various tasks, such as receiving and storing deliveries, restocking supplies, and assisting in general kitchen cleanliness.
