Position Summary
As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in the cannabis industry by assisting customers in selecting products that best fit their needs and preferences. Your responsibilities will include providing knowledgeable guidance on various strains, products, and consumption methods while ensuring compliance with state regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Greet and assist customers with professionalism
- Educate customers on cannabis strains, potency, and effects
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Methods product offerings and deals
- Recommend products on customer preference, desired effects, and experience level
- Adhere to all state and local cannabis regulations
- Verify customers identification and ensure legal requirements are met
- Operate a cash register and maintain an accurate cash count in the drawer
- Accurately process transitions through the point-of-sale system
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory
- Monitor product levels and inform management of low stock or popular items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the store
- Work cooperatively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient dispensary operation
- Follow proper procedures for handling cash or card transactions
- All other duties as assigned

- Must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Must maintain an excellent attendance record
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Schedule:
- This position offers a flexible schedule to accommodate both business needs and individual preferences.
- Budtenders may be scheduled for morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts based on operational requirements.
- Flexibility in scheduling is key, with opportunities for part-time or full-time hours.
- Occasional availability to cover shifts due to unforeseen circumstances or staff scheduling needs may be required.
