We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Methodist ASC of Boerne. As a member of our perioperative services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of surgical services.
About the Role
This is a PRN position, offering flexibility and variety in your schedule. You will work closely with our anesthesia team and surgeons to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout each procedure.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patients for surgery
- Circulating or scrubbing during procedures
- Managing inventory and supplies
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in nursing from an accredited program
- At least one year of experience in an operating room setting
- An active RN license and BCLS certification
- ACLS certification and CNOR certification preferred
