Position Overview: Under the direction of the Foundation Executive Director, the Community Engagement Manager will be responsible for community engagement and development work with individual donors.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships within the community
- Develop strategies to connect with the community
- Secure new individual donors
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors (new and existing)
- Active in the community through speaking engagements, events, and presentations
- Assist with coordination and cultivation of church relations
- Travel as needed to fulfill job duties
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Foundation Executive Director
Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in related work
- Personal integrity, character, collaborative, and a strong sense of ethics
- Ability to deal effectively with a multitude of personalities
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- An affinity for serving the public good
- High energy level
- Passion for community engagement
- Ability to quickly learn and establish trust
- Knowledge of computers and software programs
