About the Role :

As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Level II, you will be responsible for conducting complex laboratory tests essential for diagnosing and treating diseases. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy of test results, the maintenance of advanced instruments, and the implementation of quality control measures.

  • Independently perform moderate to high complexity testing and validate the accuracy of test results.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and take corrective actions while demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Manage quality control processes, including running controls, evaluating data, and documenting findings while communicating critical QC information to the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Proactively assess the need for new methods, technologies, and instrumentation to enhance service delivery, and report recommendations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with accrediting agencies and serve as a resource for internal and external customers.
  • Lead and manage assigned projects by developing plans, coordinating resources, and maintaining communication with management throughout the process.
  • Qualifications :

    Education and Experience :

    High school diploma (or equivalent) with 15 years of clinical lab experience, OR

  • Associates Degree with minimum 2 years of experience in a Clinical Lab setting, OR
  • Bachelor's Degree is required; clinical lab experience is preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications :

    One of the following certifications is required : MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MT(AMT), MT(AAB), CLS(NCA), MT(HEW), CLT(NCA), MLT(ASCP), or MLT(AMT). Certification requirement may be waived with 5 years of lab experience.
