HVAC Technician - Cornerstone

MRC Cornerstone Texarkana's only five star senior living community, offering a full range of services for seniors. Is seeking an HVAC Technician. 

Primarily responsible for performing all preventative maintenance on HVAC and associated mechanical systems (Appliances). Trouble shoot systems as needed to diagnose and repair malfunctions. Maintain all HVAC and associate mechanical systems in good, sound working order by performing preventative and operational maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of 1-year technical (EPA Certification) or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in construction, installation and maintenance of HVAC and associated mechanical equipment. Able to diagnose problems with appliance/kitchen cooking equipment.  Previous experience in a healthcare or residential facility desirable.
• Available to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.  Available to work rotating “On Call” and “Weekend shift Schedules”.
• Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces (attics), set up rooms for special events, maintaining and storing of equipment, accomplish HVAC tasks.
• Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals, including plumbing, electrical, water & pressure testing, sufficient to deal with service and repairs.
• Must have the ability to weld and cut metals (copper pipe).
• Valid driver's license and driving record.
• Able to safely perform essential functions of the job without harm to self or others with or without reasonable accommodation.
