Methodist University invites highly motivated candidates to join the Department of Computer Science to teach subjects in computer science and information technology.
Responsibilities:
- Teach CS1 and/or CS2 courses with high-level programming languages such as Python, C , or Java.
- Teach subject areas of web technologies, database management, multimedia application development.
- Engage students in undergraduate research opportunities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and revision in the department.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must have a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in computer science or a closely related field.
- A Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field is preferred.
- Candidates with expertise in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are preferred.
- Experience teaching in fully online and hybrid classroom environment.
- Able to engage students and foster a positive learning environment.
- A record of research/scholarly activities.
