This position is responsible for GAAP and Statutory financial reporting and analysis in the Retirement Income Solutions segment to support U.S. Business Controllers and Retirement Income Solutions requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for accounting and reporting of Capital Market products
- Reporting of GAAP and Statutory monthly / quarterly financial results, including income statements, balance sheets and earnings by source in a timely and accurate manner to support U.S. Business Controllers and Corporate financial reporting requirements.
- Analysis of financial results including comparisons to prior periods and projections, Provide data and analysis to Product management to support projections, business plan, actuals etc,
- Support the completion of the Retirement Income Solutions Quarterly Financial Supplement (QFS) - including CMIP
- Work on special projects, i.e. STATUTORY / GAAP Reconciliation by products.
- Work closely with other units including Valuations, Product Management, SOX , Internal and external auditing to provide accurate and timely data and analysis.
- Work on metrics to support analytics
- Support MD&A process for MLINC, MLICC, & MICC by creating support files as needed
- Work on any other special projects assigned
